Book Signing at Audrey's Books - Edmonton's Original Indie Bookstore

You may already be aware that I have a book signing event on Sunday at Audrey's Books, but did you know that Audrey's Books is celebrating their 50 year anniversary?

For fifty years we've delivered the joy of books to four generations of Edmonton families. Find new fiction, non-fiction and a range of bookish gifts, plus games, toys and more at our Jasper avenue store."

Great place for a book signing!

It's true, they have been around as long as I can remember. And it is great that they are so supportive of local authors. All I did was give them a call and they were happy to schedule an event with me. Just check their events page - there are plenty of events listed. All supporting local talent.

And some 'not-so-local' talent as well. I just saw that Margaret Atwood is making an appearance in December. It looks like that will be at a different venue, but possibly sponsored by the bookstore.

They are also supporting local teachers, with special promotions during the strike. And promoting books from the 'banned book' list! What an awesome store!

I am excited to browse the shelves a bit while I am there, though I hope to be too busy to do so between the hours of 12:30 and 2:30:)
